Kristeen Sellers has been working in the database field over 20 years in the areas of ETL, Database Administration and Analysis. Her background includes the industries of Finance, Health/Life Insurance, Utilities, Manufacturing and Healthcare (clinical, administrative and information technology)  She has a deep passion for the BI space and has seen this space develop and mature over the years. Her experience in this space has a foundation in SQL Server, ETL, Reporting and Data Warehousing.

Presenter: Bill Preachuk

2+ decades of experience doing all forms of data-related work - Development, Database Administration, Kimball methodology Data Warehousing, Server/Security Assessments, Performance Tuning, System Architecture. Current focus is on Hadoop with a specialization in the "meat & potatoes" of the ecosystem: Hive, Pig, Sqoop, Flume, NiFi, Data Movement, ETL Offload and Data Archival.

 

Bill particularly enjoys educating and presenting on Hadoop, Data, and DBA-related topics to the wide variety of User Groups he's been associated with. These include Analytics, Database (PASS) & Hadoop User Groups

Bill has been in IT since 1991 and has presented at PASS Summit , multiple SQL Saturdays, and PASS/Hadoop/Analytics user group meetings in the Twin Cities, Wisconsin, Iowa, Winnipeg, and Ukraine. He also served 2 years on the Board of PASSMN - The Minnesota SQL Server User Group.
